The Solution
How does a modern-day artist deviate from the "formula" and still create works
of art that audiences will want to read, see, hear, and gravitate to for their newness, freshness, and universal
appeal?
I propose a solution that entails the creation of a new genre of intreactive
stories for children and adults alike and bringing these stories into people's lives and experiences.
- Stories that are alive--rich in myth, metaphor, allusion, imagery, fulfilling the literary and sociological
requirements for what a modern myth must include in order to be meaningful, valuable, and appropriate to the society
for which it was created.
- Strong and effective visuals that use state-of-the-art technology to create a fully sensory experience.
The effective combination of imagery, color, light, language, and sound, capturing the audience right from the
start and getting them into that "willing suspension of disbelief."
- Stories with a universal message--one of impending disaster coupled with tremendous opportunity. Stories
that inspire not fear, but hope.
- Stories teaching universal themes of respect for individuals and groups, love for oneself and others and
the whole planet and all life, and the sacredness of life and the importance of continuity, with the proper balance
between morals and entertainment.
